my859 does not sell, share, or contribute your personal content, prompts, emails, documents, calendar data, messages, or connected platform data into generalized AI training datasets.
AI processing performed by my859 is used solely to provide services directly to you within your account experience.
We may use anonymized and aggregated usage analytics to improve platform performance, feature effectiveness, security, and reliability. These analytics do not include personally identifiable content.
AI Output Disclaimer
AI-generated outputs may contain inaccuracies, incomplete information, or unintended results. You acknowledge that AI-generated recommendations, summaries, drafts, or analyses should not be solely relied upon for:
- Legal decisions
- Financial decisions
- Medical decisions
- Regulatory compliance
- Critical business operations
Users are responsible for reviewing and validating AI-generated outputs before acting on them.
Sensitive Data Redaction
We attempt to automatically identify and mask personal, sensitive, and financial information (such as passwords, account numbers, credit card numbers, Social Security numbers, and API keys) that may appear in connected data sources before it is included in AI-generated outputs. This is a best-effort technical safeguard and is not guaranteed to catch every instance.
4. Data Ownership
You retain ownership of your content and underlying data.
By using the Services, you grant my859 a limited license to process, store, transmit, and analyze your information solely for the purpose of operating and improving the Services you request. Nothing in this Privacy Policy transfers ownership of your data to my859.
5. Marketing Communications
By creating an account or interacting with our Services, you agree that we may contact you regarding:

- Service announcements
- Educational resources
- Promotions
- Related products or services
You may opt out of marketing communications at any time using unsubscribe links or account settings. We do NOT sell your direct personal information, email address, or identifying information to third parties.
SMS Messaging
If you enroll in the my859 brief SMS program, we collect your mobile phone number and related delivery metadata (timestamps, delivery status, opt-in/opt-out events) to verify your number, deliver your scheduled brief, and provide customer support. We use Twilio as our SMS delivery subprocessor. No mobile information or SMS opt-in consent is shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes, and this information won't be shared with any third parties. 6. Third-Party Integrations
my859 integrates with third-party platforms and services.
When you authorize integrations, you grant us permission to access and process information from those systems solely to provide requested functionality. We request only the permissions reasonably necessary to operate the features you enable.
You may revoke integration permissions at any time through the applicable third-party provider settings or your my859 account settings. Your use of third-party services is also governed by their respective terms and privacy policies.
7. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell your personal information.
We may share limited information in the following situations:
Service Providers
We may share information with trusted vendors and subprocessors that assist with cloud infrastructure, authentication, analytics, payment processing, customer support, AI processing, security monitoring, and email delivery. These providers are contractually required to protect your information. The categories of information shared with service providers do not include mobile phone numbers collected for the my859 SMS brief program or the associated SMS opt-in consent data, which are never shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
Legal Requirements
We may disclose information if required to comply with applicable law, respond to legal process, protect rights or safety, investigate fraud or abuse, or enforce agreements.
Business Transfers
Information may be transferred as part of a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, or bankruptcy proceeding.
7a. SMS and Mobile Information Sharing
No mobile information, phone numbers, or SMS opt-in consent collected through the my859 brief SMS program will be shared, sold, rented, or otherwise disclosed to any third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. This information is used solely to deliver the SMS service you enrolled in (number verification, sending your scheduled brief, delivery receipts and metadata, and customer support). The categories of personal information described elsewhere in this Privacy Policy that may be shared with service providers or subprocessors exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information won't be shared with any third parties.
What we collect for SMS
- Your mobile phone number
- Verification code attempts and timestamps
- Message delivery status and metadata
- Opt-in and opt-out events and timestamps
SMS subprocessor
We use Twilio to transmit SMS messages on our behalf. Twilio acts as a service provider and is contractually restricted from using your mobile information or opt-in consent for its own marketing or promotional purposes, or for the marketing or promotional purposes of any third party or affiliate.

8. Human Access and Support Operations
Authorized personnel may access limited user information when reasonably necessary for customer support, technical troubleshooting, security investigations, abuse prevention, legal compliance, or operational maintenance. Access is restricted to authorized personnel with legitimate business purposes.
9. Data Storage and Security
We implement commercially reasonable technical, administrative, and organizational safeguards designed to protect your information. Security measures may include encryption in transit, encryption at rest, authentication controls, access restrictions, audit logging, monitoring systems, and infrastructure security protections.
However, no method of transmission or storage can guarantee absolute security.
10. Data Retention
We retain information only as long as reasonably necessary to:
- Provide Services
- Maintain account functionality
- Comply with legal obligations
- Resolve disputes
- Enforce agreements
- Preserve security and backup systems
Deleted data may persist temporarily in encrypted backups or archival systems before permanent deletion.

12a. Advertising on the Free Plan
The free, ad-supported plan displays ads from third-party advertising networks within the web dashboard and the optional daily reminder email. With your consent, these networks may use cookies, pixels, or similar technologies to measure ad performance and show more relevant ads. We do not share the contents of your briefs, calendar, mail, or other connected-source data with advertising networks. You can withdraw advertising consent at any time using Cookie settings in the footer, and ads are not shown to users on paid plans (Manual, Automated, and Concierge).
13. Children's Privacy
The Services are not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that such information has been collected, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.
14. International Users
If you access the Services outside the United States, you understand that your information may be transferred to, stored in, and processed in jurisdictions where our service providers operate. By using the Services, you consent to those transfers.
15. Security Incidents
While we strive to protect information, no security system is impenetrable. If we become aware of a material security incident affecting personal information, we will take reasonable steps to investigate, mitigate, and notify affected users when required by applicable law.
